Wow, those FEET! They feet have the same features as those of the American Coots, but the color is so.... I can't quite describe it. They almost look like a gelatin mold or something. ^^ Lovely capture.

Aww, Eurasian coot, they miss so much love Not much to criticize here, the composition is very well with that horizontal log down below to get some 'grip' in the photo and with the coot as clear focal point of attention. Utterly adorable how he seems to be staring at that shimmer of light
