Hello Andy..............
I love this.
However, I have really only one comment to make and that is...........this photo needs 'cropping.'
IF you have a good camera and this photo is RAW, it actually should be perfectly OK to crop quite a lot.
The foreground of this photo is really way too busy and blurry....a lot of this can go.
Similarly the left hand side is quite strong and you could lose some of this because I am almost looking at this before the bird....not all of it.
I do hope you can do this because the bird is perfectly in focus.

I Know What You Mean And I Sat On This One For Quite A While For That Very Reason Trying To Make My Mind Up If I Should Post It Or Not. It Is Already Quite A Heavy Crop So I'm Not Sure How Much More I Can Trim Off But I Will Dig Out The Original And See What It Will Stand. There Was Just Something I Liked About It But Not Really Sure What. If It Won't Crop Anymore I May Well Scrap It.
Thanks For An Honest Appraisal It So Nice To Have People Give An Honest Opinion Of A Picture Instead Of The Usual Oh Wow Comments We Se So Often.
