2010 will be my Year of the Tree. Tall trees. Short trees. Some real. Some with a twist of fantasy (as is my wantHere's something to start the ball rolling. Based on the shape of a Moreton Bay Fig but with the tortured texture of a tea tree... a gift for my Auntie Robyn who almost single-handedly kept my enthusiasm alive for drawing during my decadent and hedonistic uni days.

Wonderful detailing! I love that twisted effect on trees...makes them seem so ancient and a little tortured.
