Description
In this painting, I've amalgamated my figurative work with a larger landscape painted onto a large canvas. The lighting used for the elegant figure was very different from the beach sunset scene, so I've tried my best to merge the feel of the two onto the canvas, whilst keeping the figure as a strong focus in the picture. The original figure was also wearing high heels, which, as my wife pointed out, would certainly NOT work on a beach. So the lady's gone barefoot here, walking on tiptoes. 30" x 24", acrylic on block canvas, 2012
