Daniela's been asking me to create a painting of her for a while. Her boudoir photos are fabulous, but not entirely suitable for the kinds of exhibitions I'm aiming to create paintings for, so I've adapted one of her photos quite significantly - toning down some of the sexier elements. So if you think this is overly saucy ... well, you haven't seen the original! ;0)Anyway, I've tried to create in paint the shallow depth of field effect, to accentuate the play of her hair on her back, which really caught my eye. Acrylic on canvas, March 2012, 12" x 16"
