Russian model Tatiana Kuzmina, who lives in Florida, kindly allowed me to create a painting from one of her photos. I wanted to produce a painting with similar colours to 'Red, Red Wine', to be part of a set.

In the original photo Tatiana had something of a strong expression on her face, so I adjusted the portrait somewhat to make it easier on the eye, but in so doing lost some of the likeness - which she wasn't wild about. I've since done some more work to the painting to enhance the smoky lighting effect and strengthen the realism
