So a couple of times I have had the question asked:

How do I pixel?

Well its relatively simple when you see the process shown here.

This time it is a trade to fellow Deviant of her OC Lilith (reference here -> [link] )

Please note this is completely different from my first How I Pixel This time I practically worked backwards so to speal

First I outline the hair and give it a base color. Then work from the first color to shading the darker spots but adding touches of light shades in the dark ones to give it a more realistic look of hair strands. After this I quickly worked on the eyes and shading of the eyes to make them look more real and not so.....hollow D:

Then I draw the clothes. Granted I would spend a BIG amount of time because I draw freehand to fix the lines so that are 1px and therefore give it a clean and smooth look. Then I will pick out a pallet of colors and fill bucket the base color on the clothes. This time I started from the top (the shirt) and work my way down,

After my base colors are in I start shading my colors:
Generally I shade the clothing first as it requires much more detail than the skin and while I shade the clothing I establish where my light source is coming from.

After the clothes I decided to concentrate on the accessories which in her case was a necklace

After that I work on the skin by applying a base tone and generally using between 2-3 shades of the base to create the shading. IN this case I used three

After the hair I shade the the general skin I head towards the face since it doesn't come with pre-shading to her specific hairstyle After which I am finished :3

Yeah I know...I switched it up completely but Im trying out different styles of pixeling and shading to help develop myself better >.>
