I run Windows on my iMac, just for games...
Haha, "get a mac later" then. Actually, Photoshop on the new Intel Mac is hell slow. I am now quite regret of buying the iMac before CS3 come out.

i still dont like the printing quality on contact sheets. even on 300dpi i got unsharp and low resolutioned pictures.

the visual style skin i'm using isnt visible in both of the pictures. its hidden. but for your interest, i'm using a themepatcher allowing me to change the visual style of windows, no programme like windows blind. i'm currently using this visual style: [link]
the bottom bar in the first picture is a widget called "informer", where you can put rss feeds, system monitor, turn off/turn on, etc. on and is only visible in the widget dashboard.

Yeah, desktop widgets can really improve your laptop usability... Are those roadmap photos updated (almost) real-time and are they part of Yahoo Widgets package, and is there any list of camera-supported spots on Earth?
I ask this because it would be very useful before jumping in your car to know what are the most traffic-overcrowded areas in the city, isn't it?

that was too much for me. i dont try progs rewriting the whole system and after reading their faq i was kinda frightening about how much failures could happen.

I'm curious to know what image that is in the top right corner of the first image. It is very intriguing.
You should get a Mac; I own one, and they're so unbelievably good for graphics (as you know) and just overall use. I have never regretted the bounce from PC to Mac.

i dont know. its just a widget that shows me random pictures from all over the world.
i dont plan to get a mac though. i'm just so used to my pc and the work flow.
