This is what it looked like in the woods near my house. Earlier that week, it rained and hen everything froze over. The white sheeting on the ground is not snow, but hardened ice. So climbing that hill was a chour to get this picture for you guys!

It was freezing cold so this was one of my only decent pictures that I took.

The ice you see of the trees where the icicles are going sideways instead of down, well, the instant freeze that happened over the next few days put extreme stress upon all types of trees making them bend this way and that. That is what cause this. Some trees even snapped in half. My sister and I nearly go crushed by one. It was so close that the ice that shattered from the fall with the tree limb showered all over me. And that stuff hurt!!!
