EDITI don't really do this much now but it did branch out some ideas for me on how to color hair.

Nice tutorial! What would you say to colouring in the light colours (base colours for the skin, hair...), and then in a new layer painting the darker parts (shadows...) with the airbrush tool.

Hmmm.... I think it would be easier if you used the airbrush tool since it's already blended. But if you notice, not every shadow or dark color blends or is soft. Some are solid and some are semi-soft. So I recommend the airbrush tool for soft shadings. Hope that helps.
