Yeah, sure he's the main character. But I think one day his personality traits will make him suffer and perhaps die. You see, he wants to protect all those dear to his heart, including Sasuke. If both fight each other in a final fight, he'd rather die than killing his best friend... His brother, won't he?

Besides, it's not like I want Naruto to die - not at all.
I just think this is the most logical end... And if you believe the spoilers so far, he might die. We'll see

it does make sence, and kishimoto does seem to be the sort of person who wouldnt let the whole 'hes the main character so he has to live a happily ever after' stop him but...... i dont know, naruto's pretty stong but...... GAH! D: this is making my head hurt TT____TT

lol number one is very amusing...and number 3 outdated? how so, if Naruto died that would be the end of the manga...caus its...Naruto lol. I just always assumed it would be like murder suicide with those two or they just both die ya know? **even though I secretly wish sasuke would just die or straighten out at least caus I love me some narux...well...pretty much anyone xDD**

Yeah, I can see your point, was just wondering how long do they want to keep up the series? Either one of them definitely has to die and since Sasuke's like the total badass guy with all those jutsu he learned, I rather assume that he'll be Naruto's end .... [((or both ))]
though it'd be kinda sad if it ended like that, you know, who doesn't want an happy ending for them with being friends again and Naruto/ Sasuke ending up with some girl (or boy xD)? But then again it might sound far tooo gay if both survived and got friends again
