Wow , I never expected one of my pics to be a daily deviation!This is my male Giant common leaf tailed gecko - Uroplatus fimbriatus. I have kept a pair for about a year now and only seen this once. I think its a definsive posture. I walked into the room and it was already like this, so I grabbed my camera and took some quick snaps.
I have made a print available for those who have requested it.

Wow, that is one freaky, hilarious looking gecko. If I'd seen it as a drawing, I would never imagined it to be based on a real animal. Truth is stranger than fiction.
