Description
This is a male Common leaf tailed gecko from Madagascar ( Uroplatus fimbriatus) which I had the pleasure of owning for a couple of years. He (and his mate) have since gone to a new home, with an owner who keeps and breeds many of the uroplatus species, as in recent years I have had to drastically reduce the amount of pets I keep due to an ongoing illness which leaves me with very little energy.
Many years ago, on Madagascar, these geckos were thought to be little devils due to the scream they emitted when disturbed and the strange face they pull
