I've just bought a scanner so I've started using sketches again. The thing is though that I've fallen in love with thin ink pens so there's no erasing at all in my recent sketches. A fact that I oddly like because those lines don't get messy and smudged like pencil lines do. Anyway for scenery I don't use refs but I do use self made brushes that are from various photos of rock and stuff. I hope I dare to post some of those messy pen drawings soon. I also use it for my weekly anatomy drawing practices. I guess with all the editing in digital media my mind wants to celebrate mistakes.
