Description
When I was painting Blue Heaven I restricted myself to using one brush in painter. For a different look I now used many tools in painter IX and photoshop cs2. I enjoyed the long process of this image very very much. I also had fun hunting for reference material arond town with my camera. I like the symbolism in this one amd I can't wait to start another piece. I thought I'd have more to say here but right now my head is so empty. Feel free to ask anything and please go see the DETAILS in my scrap-book. I might update this description later.I edited the hand a bit because it was too long and I had a typo in the description. God, if only I had the time and patience to learn how to manipulate Painter the way you have figured it out! Maybe one day~ I hope! Your composition is stunning, but more than that, your ability to add in so many layers creates an astounding depth, giving one a sense of glimpsing into a real world and not just a flat image surrounding a character.

I think this has been there I can't remember. Anyway it's old and I think my anatomy has improved a lot since I painted this. I can only have 5 paintings at the same time in my CGtalk portfolio because I don't have a subscription there.

Beautiful. I love how you use soft colours and sharp definition in the forest. The dress is gorgeously wrought. The pose... the hips seem a bit small and where she's supporting herself around the left hand seems slightly awkward ...but is fascinating nonetheless. Wonderful merging between subject and environment. Enchanting
