Gravity Falls and all related characters are the property of Disney, X-Men and all related characters are the property of Marvel Comics, and Batman and all related characters are the property of DC Comics.Well, marcoasalazarm has recently gotten into Gravity Falls and requested an art trade with Dipper and Mabel Pines as superheroes. After he gave me a list, I selected Cyclops for Dipper (more specifically he requested the 90s costume, in part due to, as with many fans, myself included, not liking Scott Summers basically because the heir to Magneto, though in retrospect, I wish I'd kept his hat off as it reminds me too much of one of Burger King's mascots from the '90s) and Mabel as the Stephaine Brown Batgirl. Thought about whether or not I'd try to adapt into my style or just try to emulate the show's style, but I decided to do the latter and one visit to WikiHow later, here we are.

Birdy. Need kind of a mixed design for her, the Decode and OVA version. Some defined muscle. Everything else is up to you, dude.

Not really. This version of Birdy appears on the story I'm... well, in all honesty, TRYING to write. Has mixed elements of the OVA and Decode/reboot manga (like being a Fed super-soldier, the boots still having the "energy field jump booster" thing from the Decode series (that she can turn on and off) but them being flats like the OVA (probably have her say that the way the boots are designed heels were comfortable but applicability was starting to lack)). Her introductory scene is her getting out of a healing vat a la the new Birdy but it being some kind of habit (she's still not used to beds or whatever, to not mention Ixiorans are heavy-hitting but high-maintenance).
Description I still don't know... maybe the classic one looks good heads-wise but I am still not, like, 100% decided. Has slightly more defined muscles than regular Birdy (either 'original' version looks athletic but good enough by.... I guess Japanese modeling standards... to be asked to become/actually be a "pop idol" on her secret identity. This one would have looked like she hit the gym, like, two or three hours more a day than the "regular" Birdys).

Ok, can see them going out Halloween (or Summerween) like that.
If anybody gives them flak about the "Marvel and DC" split... ok... dunno what they could say back. Maybe Dipper doesn't likes Robin (too complicated a costume, too damn disliking of most Robins being now on a stage when they seem to dislike having friends and family? Some versions of Scott do try to be good brothers (Evolution version, for example)) while Mabel... dunno, the braces make it hard to add fake teeth, and without the fake teeth the Squirrel Girl outfit felt "fake", and she wanted to go as a chipper heroine?.
Dunno. Guess seeing too deep into this.
