Batman and all related characters are the property of DC Comics.

It's Halloween and since I liked doing the pics SuperVenom and Thordy the Mighty , where I drew characters dressed as other characters for Halloween so I decided to open myself up to requests in a similar vein. requested a pic of Batman and his archenemy, the Joker dressed as each other.

Both Joker and Bruce were somewhat influenced by Bruce Timm's take from Justice League, though their clothes really aren't. For Bats as Joker, I colored with more classic colors, instead of the neon/pastel purple and green that the Timm Joker has wore since The New Batman Adeventures

did point out in his request that The Batman did kinda do this, but one-side (The episode The Laughing Bat, where Joker dressed as Batman), so there are two homages to it, the first being the stitching on Joker's mask and the other being the wig that Batman steps on being based on Joker's hair from that series.

A lot of the stuff in the alley, mostly the posters has appeared in earlier pics I'd done, albeit, two of two were altered, one due to the times (the original version was an eighties homage, where this one I did try to make it more recent) and the others because one of the missing posters looked too much like a wanted poster in an earlier pic. I also did in a version of a classic Spider-Man image, though I did change the costume.

Also, while the stuff on the cover are Marvel Comics references, the name of the tabloid is a reference to the novel Red Dragon, where Hannibal Lecter first appeared.
