Spider-Man is the property of Marvel Comics and Birdy the Mighty/Tetsuwan Birdy is the property of Yuuki Masami.There was a scene in the second part of Birdy the Mighty where she's on the side of a wall that got me thinking that it'd be an interesting meeting between her and Spider-Man. Should've gone with having them on a wall, but maybe next time.
This image was somewhat based on the cover to Ultimate Spider-Man issue 91, though the only real thing from it are the poses.
With Spider-Man, because he's supposed to be more along the lines of his classic Marvel Universe self, I tried to make him look a bit buffer than I'd normally have drawn him (I prefer Mark Bagley's skinny Spidey from USM) and, though I think the head looks too big, I thought I did a decent job.
As it is a bit of a crossover pic, it's the reason why I put this where I did.

Totally go for it, it's a fun anime series.

I think the funniest part in Decode was when Tsutomu got stuck temporarily in Birdy's body.
As interesting as that second season was though. . .I wish it wasn't so much an exploration of what happened in Birdy's past. Past is all well and good, but I'd rather see what's going on in the present and what will happen in the future.

Well, to be fair, I do understand why they did that--get help the audience be familiar eith Birdy a little more. And, well, the OVA series didn't really delve into the background of the characters during its time.

The OVA series felt incomplete, as if it was originally meant to be the pilot of a new series. I'm guessing the ratings for it just weren't that good when it was first airing in Japan back in '96.
On the plus side, there IS new Birdy manga still being made. . .so there is still hope!
