Full View is Better.A drawing I did of Marvel Comics' hero Spider-Man in his black costume. I had planned on drawing Shocker after Electro and Spidey's black costume later on, but given that I couldn't think of a decent pose for Shocker and this recent revealation about Spider-Man 3, I went ahead and did the black costume (Based on the Ultimate version of the black costume , which isn't that different from the classic black costume ). I hope you enjoy it.

NP. To be fair, the poster was released this past Thursday, was it is pretty recent. I wonder the same thing about Venom. There is that fact that That 70s Show's Topher Grace is in the movie, but no one knows who he's playing and that Ultimate Venom isn't a bodybuilder like the regular guy. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Ah! You learn something new every single day, huh? I didn't realize that Spiderman was Venom, hmm. I actually didn't know Venom was at all related to Spiderman, I thought he was another comic book thingy.
Anyhow, awesome job with the eyes - that's super cool how you did that, gah! It takes me ... ok, well, no, it doesn't take me ... I can't draw Batman or Robin eyes, it's just like your eyes - I just can't. So gah, eyes like that have alway been super hard for me. So me gusta your work on those eyes.

To be fair, Spidey never was Venom, but a lot of Venom was a hand-down of sorts (This covers both classic and Ultimate versions of the character ). Abyway, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you liked it.

I really like the style here, and I've always been a fan of the black costume...and was sad to see it go, even if it did bring us Venom...and Carnage. Great work on this piece!

I prefer his old costume because it's more.... Artistic. But black for him probably makes more sense.

True about the classic red & blues, which might explain why the movie version is simply an all-black version of the classic red and blues...unless there's something else going on.
