Well, it's been hot where I live lately, and I felt like drawing a nice summer pic. So that's what inspried this: Birdy in a bikini enjoying a nice summer day and about to sunbath.

Based on a picture in the how to draw book Manga Mania, though I did make some alterations such as how Birdy's right arm in post (the girl in the pic this is based on was holding up a harpoon gun) and it being in the middle of the afternoon (the original pic as at sunset).

UPDATE: Tweaked a couple of things I was unhappy with to make it better.
