Batman and all related characters are the property of DC Comics.

Well, this was just an experiment that crossed my mind. A few years back before I joined deviantART, I would try to emulate Ed McGuinness's a little. Not emulate his style per se, but trying to do the whole "make a lot of the heroes look larger-than-life" thing.

So, recently, I was thinking about it and decided to try it again. This is one of two of those experiments. I hope you guys like them and that it worked out.

As with my last Batman character study, The most obvious inspiration for my character design was the design of Bats from Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. Other inspirations from this character study was the design from The Batman (most notably the cape and "clawed" fingertips on his gloves) and the design of Bats from the Batman: Gotham Knight short, "Deadshot" (The Bat-symbol).

UPDATE: This is the first of uploading the tweaked version. With Batman, I pretty much went back and altered to the costume to make it look more like the body armor/costumes from the Batman: Arkham games. Hope you guys like the tweaked version.
