Description
Based on a storyboard I read for the Adventure Time episode 'What Have You Done?', during which Finn and Jake break the Ice King out of jail (because he didn't commit any recent crimes to deserve it) and then proceed to lock themselves up for falsely imprisoning him. Instead of taking advantage of it, the Ice King starts going nuts about how Finn and Jake are now his BESTEEZ.Long story short, I love the Ice King.
Not used to drawing Adventure Time style yet... I was good at drawing the pilot's design of Finn (Pen at the time), but now that he's a sausage he keeps messing me up. And something's just plain wrong with that Jake.

Love that show <3 Ice Kind is a great character... funny how the most relatable characters in many cartoons are often the ones who are older and more broken.

I think it's about time we get a villain like him who ISN'T mindlessly hated by the heroes. :] It's nice that Finn and Jake don't just beat him up no matter what, and they'd be more inclined to help him if they could understand what his problem is.

Aaaaah I love Adventure Time. It's so insane and awesome. 8D And you did a really good job capturing it! Finn's face made me laugh. XD
And yeah, you can't help but feel bad for a guy who even gets beaten up by his own heart...poor Ice King.

I laughed very hard when I first heard "Yeah, I know what Ice King means: a biiiig nerd". Adventure Time is the new EEnE for me.

Reeeeally? I know Jake's totally off here, but I figured Finn was more on-model than Ice King. XD Aw well, my Flapjack drawings started out pretty awful too, so hopefully that means I'll get better...
I want to make something the new EEnE for me, but it's difficult. I miss being able to trust a show to last more than 2 years without being cancelled. D:

I don't know if you've read any of the storyboards, but the Ice King befriends one of those penguins and names it Gunter (or Gunther, can't remember). I'm happy he gets to have ONE friend eventually. : D

I saw some fans talking about that once. Their idea was that they used to have a band (since they're both so old) but she couldn't stand him so the band broke up. It'd be awesome if that were an episode, though. XD
