Why didn't they make a Rugrats episode about the cat robot???I really want to make a cartoon about it, or a tumblr or something... Cat Robot is too nice to stay stuck in a theme song forever. They even got rid of it when they redid the theme song for Kimi. ):

Ah yes, I always wondered about this thing too. I reckon that if it was in the rest of the show, it would suffer mishaps or damage every time it appeared, like NIGEL in Godzilla: The Series

I thought about this many times, I thought the cat robot had an interesting design and wanted to know more about it! Maybe Stu invented it, maybe it's evil, maybe it can be controlled with a remote and talks saying strange things, so many possibilities...

Looking at it with horror and trepdation. And baby's bottles just don't squirt like that. I've tried! It did feature in the PS1 game, I think.

I googled 'cat robot Rugrats' and actually, there have been quite a few people asking about the robot. I saw a questions site about the cat robot and apparently an answer was:
'The cat robot from the introduction scene from Rugrats never appeared in any episodes. There were plans to have it, but they never made it into the show. '

I always feel this way about backround/unpopular characters. Mosttimes they're more fun than the main characters!
However I don't remember much about Rugrats. I really must rewatch it. It's just too cute and charming and they had like the first Chanukah AND Kwanzaa special I've ever seen.

I don't remember the Kwanzaa special being too good, but Chanukah was a great special! The show's been rerunning on Teennick lately, so I've been watching a lot of it.

Lol yes, poor cat robot. Tommy didn't even want it near him in the opening. But that is strange, this toy wasn't featured in any other episode I know of. I guess this one was a concept that never found its way in the episodes.

I remember going to Rugrats Live and they redid the theme song and it included the cat robot, so that was pretty cool, and they included the theme song in the first movie so that cat got to be on the big screen, BUT STILL. I want an episode about the strong relationship between Cat Robot and Tommy, clearly they have some tension.
