This was done earlier this quarter for a project in my Life Drawing II class. I got my friend Cristina to come over and model for me. We were supposed to do it from life, but whose friend has time to pose for hours? Not any of mine, that's for sure. So I just took pictures. I guess I was trying to portray a "morning after" image, haha. So yeah, this is what I turned in. I liked the pose a lot, and I loved rendering the shirt. Also, I was pleased with how her foot came out, for some reason.The photograph really ruins this picture. It looks much better in person, in my honest opinion....
Her legs look large, and i think it's cuz i took the photo at a slight angle.... BAH.
Also, if the environment doesn't really seem to work, everything INSIDE the doorway behind the figure was drawn from a completely different location at a completely different time. I just tried to make it fit..... so yeah

The perspective seems a little out though. Overall its a nice piece.

Thanks! yeah, I think the perspective is off because I combined 2 different environments... My friend modeled in my apartment, and the bedroom is from a completely different apartment... So the perspective was a little off... Oh well...
