Description
Another year has gone by, and we've gotten many movies to help us remember it by. Because COVID cases began to drop significantly, it meant that places were allowed to reopen (with a few requirements, of course), and the one place I was crossing my fingers would reopen was the theater. Lo and behold, the theaters reopened, and I got to experience watching films on the big screen again, and it felt amazing. Of all the films I've seen this year, I saw seven: Mortal Kombat, Old, Antlers, Encanto, West Side Story, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Sing 2. Every other film I saw was either released onto streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, or HBO Max or rented on DVD from Netflix or Gamefly. Like with every other top 5 movies list I made, here's the list of animated films I didn't see, and their reasons why:

-Tom & Jerry - heard it was really bad
-The Boss Baby: Family Business - not interested
-Space Jam: A New Legacy - heard it's nothing but product placement
-Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans - no experience with the show
-PAW Patrol: The Movie - not interested
-The Addams Family 2 - wasn't a fan of the first one
-Extinct - not interested
-Diary of a Wimpy Kid - not interested
-Back to the Outback - Not interested
-Rumble - not interested
