I finally decided to join in on the latest art trend that's making the rounds on Twitter.

In this art trend, we're given a color wheel with eight slots: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, and pink. In each of these slots, people would suggest to us a cartoon character to represent that color, and we, the artist, would draw them in. Considering that I've participated in the "Six Fanarts" challenge (twice), I thought this wouldn't be any more different, and I was right; it's just me drawing a group of different characters interacting with each other, only this time, instead of being in boxes, the characters are in a wheel.

In order of appearance, the characters depicted are as follows:
Red: Moxxie from Helluva Boss
Orange: Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender
Yellow: SpongeBob SquarePants from... SpongeBob SquarePants
Green: Libby Stein-Torres from The Ghost and Molly McGee
Cyan: Barry Buns from Kiff
Blue: Grover from Sesame Street
Purple: Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Pink: Lola Loud from The Loud House
When it comes to making these characters, three of them are characters I have never drawn before. Those characters in question are Moxxie, Barry and Grover. Of those three, Moxxie was easily the hardest one, since the style of Helluva Boss can be quite tricky to replicate. However, he wasn't the hardest character overall to draw; that would go to Aang. I kid you not, I probably spent about 30-45 minutes drawing him, and what made him such a challenge was that I had to position him in a good pose while also trying to keep it anatomically correct. I'm so glad he was the first character I drew, because everyone else was a breeze to make. If there was a character I had the most fun making, I'd say it's a tossup between Lola and Barry; Lola because I just love I drew her being whisked off Twilight when she tried to ride her, and Barry because of how excited I drew him reacting to Libby's pet turtle. Speaking of Barry and the turtle, I thought their interaction would be a uniquely hidden reference to "The Tortoise and the Hare". You might also notice that all the characters depicted all come from different cartoons. Well, that's because of the rules I made when I asked my followers for suggestions that I only allow one character per show, so that way, the wide variety would make this look more unique. After all, I don't want people to think that two characters from the same show would indicate some sort of favoritism.

One last thing I'd like to bring up is that, in an effort to make the colors pop out more, I thought I'd give the colored backgrounds a certain texture. Each of the textures are supposed to match a certain characteristic to the character in them. Here are the textures in question:
Moxxie: stone
Aang: dirt (a reference to Earth)
SpongeBob: sand
Libby: a turtle shell
Barry: rabbit fur
Grover: Cookie Monster's fur
Twilight: horse hair
Lola: satin
That's all there is to say here. Hope you liked my take on this challenge, and maybe if I'm up for it, I could make another one of these.
