The title pretty much says it all.

Today is January 17, 2022. On this day, legendary actress Betty White would've turned 100 years old, or on more scholarly tone, she would've become a centenarian. This was a day people all over the world have been anticipating, as someone as famous as her reaching such a high age would've been as legenday as herself...

...that is, until December 31, 2021.

On the very last day of the year, the sad news broke out that Betty White had passed away. Considering that we were a little more than a couple weeks shy of her 100th birthday, this news was immensely devastating to everyone, given that she seemed very healthy for someone her age. In fact, some people found her passing so heartbreaking, they went as far as to disown the entirety of 2021 for that reason alone, and honestly, I couldn't blame them.

When it comes to my experiences with Betty White, I don't have a lot to say about her, as I never watched any shows where she was center stage, but I knew her from her countless voice roles in several shows I watch like Family Guy or SpongeBob SquarePants. Regardless of the little experience I have with her, one thing I could not ignore was her legacy. Just by reading any information about her, I knew she meant so much to a lot of people, and that's why I've come to respect her as a very influential person.

That's all I'm gonna say about this artwork. Nothing too special making it (other than making the icing on the cake gold as a nod to her role in The Golden Girls), and I just want to give my words to Ms. White for being an icon to many people. Hope you like it, and may her legacy live forever.
