"It just got real."

One year ago, one of my top 5 favorite episodes of The Loud House Season 4, "Last Loud on Earth" premiered. This was an episode that really stuck with me, not because I have some kind of personal attachment to it, but the amount of fun I had watching this episode is what made it stick with me. When deciding what to make for the picture, I knew that I wanted to have silhouettes of Lincoln and Clyde running on the Earth, while the giant silhouettes of the zombies loom over them on the horizon. Since I couldn't draw the continents of the Earth correctly most of the time, I relied on tracing them, as it's honestly the only way to make them look good. Because all the silhouettes are black, I had to figure out how to make Lincoln and Clyde's silhouettes appear without the zombies blocking them out, and I accomplished that by adding a glowing atmosphere around the planet. The zombies were easily the easiest things to draw, as I just made an outline and colored it all black (with the exception of an open mouth on one of them). I was originally going to have the background be a starry sky, but I found out that it made the zombies really difficult to see, so I opted out to use gloomy, stormy sky that was present throughout the episode.
