(shut up. comics and animation are like sandwiches and hamburgers. i'm not explaining that.)

A list will be put together of everyone willing to participate and members will be randomly selected to make the next panel!
When you finish a panel, add it to the existing file -- PLEASE DON'T SET COMPRESSION TO HIGH -- BIG FILE SIZES ARE BETTER THAN CRAP RESOLUTION.
submit your latest version of the comic under your scraps and send us a link!

Ok ,so.
I made a reply here but it looks like the reply didnt turn up.so here we go again.
One panel per person so as too keep some level of fun randomess to the story
and not have one person steering the story.
That way we can have one panel saying "He reached for his scabbard to draw his sword." then next persons panel "Unfortunately he had left home without it."
The tools are up to yourself pencil on paper if you like, then scan it,scale it and fit it into the main page of the comic,then submit it to your scraps.
Don't rescale the page itself.
Try to be kind to your predecessor and not go"meanwhile on a planet far far away."although thats not strictly out of the question to do.
Keep it simple. Keep it fun. Keep it circulating.

Alright, then... why not? Might be fun... set me up, barkeep!!
But we should establish some constants... like the media we work in (I suggest pencil... best to start with the basic tool that we all know).

Yeah one panel each,chances are that not alot of people will participate so it will likely get back to you sooner than youd think.
It's also an excercise in continuity and loosely an excecise in boarding.
Use whatever tools you are comfy with,as long as you insert your panel on the
main comic and not just submit the panel on its own for someone else to paste into the comic.
SO draw it with pencil on paper,scan it, scale it and fit it to its appropriate position on the page.
Dont' rescale the page itself.
The one panel rule is also so that things can stay a bit random so that one person isn't steering the story too much.
This is a forward version of the comic jam,there's also a backward jam and a radial single page jam(where you do the center panel and the next person does
a before center panel and an after center panel and so on til you have a beginning and an end.)

well i think hydrart is the most experienced one here with comic jam, seeing as he's done one before... but from what i understand that sounds about right.
one person will do one panel, then submit it.
the next person is randomly submitted from the list of people that have registered (volunteered, whatever) to participate (im doing the registration thing so that the next panel won't go to someone who doesn't log on to DA much, doesn't finish artworks fast, or doesn't feel like it). and that person does the next panel. another person is chosen, so on and so on.
ever done one of those things where you tell a story in a circle of people, and one person says a sentence and the next says another? it's like that, with comics.
