Continuation of thisRowanoak's wife comes in and teleports the adder that bit her husband. Unfortunately Rowanoak dies from the poison from the adder's bite but not before saying his farewells to his wife and 2 daughters ..

Fair point. Keep in mind, though, that my headcanon was more about deconstructing the idea of kids going out on an adventure, and of a boy losing his mother, not killing people in the most brutal ways possible.
