Description
My thesis animation for a Master's degree at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco! Written, designed, animated, inked and painted all by me! Traditional pencil and paper (LOTS of paper), then inked and painted in Toon Boom studios. There are places where i had to sacrifice quality for quantity in order to finish the film on time... my next one will be better!edit! WHOA!! Daily Deviation!! Thank you so much for the comments and favs! They really mean a lot to me! They make all the work I put into this film worthwhile!

This is like Tom and Jerry in a different version, or it pretty much reminded me of that show. All audio but no voice dialogues. Either way. I'm impressed of what you made.

yes, I went to The Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, my teachers were all former Disney animators and I learned a lot, it was a huge help. Its probably not as prestigious and high-profile as, say, Cal-Arts or Sheridan but I would say it ranks.

Ya Know I just LOVE how well thought out the feeling of this webpage is.
For a second I rolled my eyes about how little Abigail knows about her craft, but then I realized that actual(in movies) witches always use their spell books so this is nothing else just a much bigger and more responsive spell book. BRILLIANT idea!

Okay, that was just amazing--this animation is better than a ton of anime I've seen, because the movement and body language is so expressive--and it's better than a lot of western animation I've seen too because the movement is realistic instead of exaggerated caricatures of movements. Β Sure, there's playful exaggeration done in there at times, but by and large it's all very believable. Β And the way the music, expressions, and cinematography come together, there's palpable tension during the loading scene.
It's awesome to see some the same personality I saw in your work back in college still here in some form. Β Little details give it that touch even though your style has evolved.
