My very first digital drawing. This is Link and Navi from Ocarina of Time. Needless to say, I'm ashamed of it, but I'm posting it because it shows how much I've improved (although I was bound to once I got a tablet). This is done with the mouse, and I was completely new at photoshop. Needless to say, I still think I did a good job under the circumstances.Related content

Whats Cell Shading mean exactly?
How do you use Photoshop for cg art stuff anyway?
Maybe its coz i only hav the 'Adobe Photoshop Album Stater Edition' but i cant work it out...
I tried fixing a scanned pic on there once and it did nothing but fuck it up!
I can use Paint pretty good, but i figured i should use better programs, because i cant make anything realistic with it, then i never really bothered trying.

Cel-shading means that the shading on the picture is in blocks of color, not smooth like realism. Photoshop for cg? Erm, well, I don't anymore, because I suck with the program. I like Painter and sometimes Open Canvas for most of the cg process. I just learned all my programs by trial and error, and reading tutorials and such. I'm sure a tutorial will help you get started with Photoshop.
