Hi, friends !well, how I explain in the last pic of my MLP fan work, here you can see the characatres with colors
and, again, for avoid some confusion, the characters of this pic :
Our ponies heroines:
Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack Fluttershy, Spike and Zecora
the difference now would be the inclusion of Zecora, it would be a "counselor" of our heroines
After their our have the models of Princess Celestia and her sister, Princess Luna and a basic model of the pegasus royal guard
The three new ponies are a spacial creation mine for this work:
Thunderchild, the eletric unicorn
Icebreaker, the frost pegasus
Fireworker, the flame mare
They are "The Fabulous Tri-Sis"
This trio of sisters will help Princess Luna( for her tough luck ....)
Finally, what would be the heroes without villains, is not it?
This demon ram is Grogar, the lord of Darkness of ancient Tambelon city
behind him, see his servant, Bray, the donkey and the new Grogar's particular sorceress, the "new" great and powerfull Trixie, who has magical powers thanks to the new oath of loyalty that she made for her new master (obviously she can "break" this oath)
Also have the model of commander in chief of Tambelon's army, the commander Hammer Horn and basic model of the goats soldiers and elite soldiers of Grogar's army
How I explain in the first model, Grogar and Bray are characters of the 80's original series and, I belive that can be a good idea make a "remake" of some old ideas
So, those are the main characters that I will use in this fan work and, soom, I will post some pics basead in this idea

bom, então acho que você vai gostar das cenas de luta entre Celestia versus Grogar ( estou vendo alguns videos no youtube sobre cavalos e carneiros lutando) e, claro, uma cena ala "300" dos guerreiros pegasus se pegando com os bodes soldados
Bom, no caso, a character desing da serie ainda não viu, mas pelo numero de favs e comentarios, parece que o pessoal aprovou e esta curioso pela ideia( não estaria reclamando se algum executivo da Hasbro visse tambem e fizesse alguma proposta para mim ^^)

ah sim, é a velha estoria, onde mais gostamos de ver desenhos animados
nas velhas tv preto e branco ou em telões coloridos lcds...
bem, eu fiz algumas correções nela como em outros personagens como a Trixie
eu estou trabalhando agora em algumas ilustrações, no caso mostrando algumas cenas de luta entre Celestia vs Grogar

Yeah I kinda knew who Gogar was, after I watched an MLP retrospective. I do miss 80's villains though. They might have been as simplistic as a punch to the face, but in that simplicity is a menace all it's own. Because there motives are so one dimensional, it means they can't be reasoned with, and they won't stop until they conquer, or are stopped once and for all.

today, as I noted, the villains almost apologize for being "bad" at the end
For example, in the current series of MLP, our heroines do not really have "enemies" (ok, ok Discord can be "bad" but he is not "evil", that is, he does not want to destroy everything, kill anyone who gets in his way, crush any opposition and
bullying survivors)
So, I chose to make this version of grog, adapting his concept for the current series, but keeping the original essence of it, a cruel creature, powerful, and completely ruthless with his enemies
in other words, a real villain

Well Discord is more or less Q from the next generation, mixed with Sheogorath from Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. He spreads chaos, but it's for his own amusement. Grog from how you have him is your old school, Mumm-Ra, Darksied type villain. Powerful, and threatening. I still think Discord could be a good recurring villain, which could open the door for a more ominous villain like Gorg.

ah, yes..the type of villian that Discord is is " bad but goofy" a "playful trickster"
he would not exactly "evil" but the concept of "fun" he has become a threat
and as you said in comment, it would be at a level less than a truly evil entity as Grog
could even happen in a hypothetical scenario, during the attack of Grogar's armys, but Discord be delivered once, however, until he realizes that Grogar is a real threat, so, for convenience, he could ally with our heroines
