Kisha and her mates are building a dig to prevent flooding , the rain has stopped but there's still a lot of work to be done.Β

Yes, especially in the springs. It's kind of mountainous, so rainwater just rushes down into the hollows below.

Steve (thinking quietly to self): "If the hurricane touches down here, there won't be any poodle races regardless!"
June: "What if the hurricane touches down and the event is canceled?"
Janice: "I don't pay you to read Steve's mind!"
Steve (thinking quietly to self): "Am I that much of an open book???"
June: "Actually, Stan's the one who handles the checks!"
Janice: "And Beatrice!?"
Beatrice (cockney accent): "Yup, I'm here, DERP!"
