When I get a chance to try the new script you are using, I'll see what I can do with it. For the moment, I am using Ultrafractal and Terragen 2, though.

Well, then, you won't want to play with the scripts. They are Apo. And if you are using Ultra Fractal they won't work. Oh, and the scripts need the need Apo 2.02beta2 version. I have older scripts that work with the 2.02beta, though, and could email those to you if you don't have the beta2 version.

On the contrary. I WANT to play with the scripts. I just can't run a bunch of programs all at the same time!
I'm not sure which version Apo 2.02beta2 is. Will it work in Apo 2.05, do you think? I have all my old betas, but I didn't acquire all of them. When I get a chance, I'll take a look.

2.02beta2 is the newest release of 2.02beta. If you go to *Apophysis they have a link in the list of latest journal entries. No, these scripts won't work in 2.02beta - I think I still have the old plastic one for beta - not sure about how many others I might have. Liz had to re-write all the scripts to work with beta2. I was bummed for a while after downloading beta2 because most of the scripts wouldn't work with it and once I got the beta2 the old beta wouldn't work!!! It's so much easier starting with a script than starting from scratch! I'm really having fun with the woven pinwheels one.
OH... I'll bet I have all of the scripts I had for 2.02beta... I kept the zip files in a separate folder - called unzipped zip files, of all things. *smiles*

I'm a bit confused. I was wondering if they work in 2.05. I have some 2.02, but maybe not the right one. All I can do is try, and if it doesn't work, go on a treasure hunt, I guess.

The newest ones that I have linked in each deviation I post only work with the newest versions. I have the older versions of the scripts still. I have the plastic script by Liz that works with 2.05 beta but not 2.05 beta 2. The script that works with 2.05 beta 2 doesn't work with 2.05 beta. Yeah, it's confusing. I wish they wouldn't rewrite the program so much that the old scripts won't work with the new versions. Sigh....

I agree with you. But when it's got a gnu license, that is what you can expect. At least it's stable and doesn't crash my machine! The newer versions can do such beautiful things.

I've not listed the link yet because there is no link to Stephanie's modification. I had to copy it from an email and take out some stuff. I can't claim it as mine, and I can't really pass it on as hers... I will go back to Liz's modifications when I start the new fractals.
