I love the metallic character to the colors. It reminds me of the jewerly I see in some shops. It's not mother-of-pearl, but I can't remember what it's called. Ah well. ^_^

Abalone? Those come from abalone shells - MOP comes from oyster shells. Personally, I prefer abalone.

I'm not sure what it is though. The jewerly I always see usually have a predomintately green or blue color to them with purple, blue, green hues mixed throughout. It's so hard to describe. It might be abalone though. No idea.

Thanks.. No news! I'm being pretty aggressive concerning all the negligent behaviour at the hospital though, and had a long talk with my GP yesterday about all the confusion and procrastination. He agreed. But of course he also has to cover his own back!
Meanwhile, where I can, and when I feel strong enough, I'm attempting to do a bit of walking and movement to get some circulatory improvement, and am going on the basis that none of this will do any harm.
Unfortunately I had a major falling out with one of our neighbours last night which left me feeling extremely physically worn down - could definitely have done without that! They moved in 3 years ago and have been an absolute pain in the neck (putting it extremely mildly) since that fateful day! Then because our two cats got into their garden yesterday (unbeknown to us) they told us we should F*****g well move!!!! I was absolutely incensed by that, and posed the question as to why anyone in the neighbourhood should have to move, or change their ways just because they had chosen to come and live in its midst! Well it went on rather, and unfortutely my hubby was out at the time. This morning I feel very undermined both emotionally and physically by that event...

Awwww, honey, I'm so sorry to hear about your neighbors. They can sure make life a living hell when they are like that. Keep trying with the walking and stuff... don't let the turkeys next door get you down! How rude of them! That was just plain RUDE. And by garden, I assume you're talking flowers? Here in the states we tend to call flower gardens "flower beds" and vegetable gardens are the "gardens".

LOL! The average garden is too small to contain a veggie patch here! I'm talking about flower-gardens, yes!
They've been there ever since that conversation, and I haven't heart one little bit of noise from that house! It's a wierd atmosphere, and my computer is situated right next to the window that faces their lounge. At the moment I don't feel I want to be here!

The largest print you can sell of a 1:1 work is 20 inches, which means rendering 2000 pixels on a side.
