I try to answer comments before viewing deviations, and that's why I get so far behind on those.)

If you don't like spooky stories, don't read that one... it's spooky! I have another one, another scary one, that I've considered posting just never got around to it. Maybe I'll do that now. At least this newer one has an ending, even if it is a bit twisted. But... that's the way short stories are supposed to end, right? *grin*

Thank you, honey... but I don't mind you keeping me. See, that's part of the policy... or at least part of the results. After posting that I am going to TAKE time for the people I care about. Without guilt!

Isn't it funny how things go. This morning I was on top of the world. So excited by the DD and feeling all-around good. Then this afternoon, David was going through the garage to try to find some papers on the horse. He needs the papers for something. So... he's going through and sorting boxes. He came in to ask about some kitchen stuff and if I would come out and take a look. I hesitated... but I really thought I'd be okay. How wrong I was. A meltdown was the result. The result of seeing pots and pans, for goodness sakes! I thought i could handle it if it wasn't something personal. I guess I was wrong. Now I'm on the really raw emotional side, and David is feeling like he's got to handle everything all over again. And, bless his heart, he will. And I feel like such a heel because I can't do something simple like laundry. Not physically can't... emotionally can't. The laundry is hard for me anyway. Each time I do it and pull out the small clothes Katie wears, it hits me in the gut that Chrys is gone and not coming back. I honestly think it would precipitate another meltdown if I tried to do laundry right now. Damn, damn, damn... I HATE feeling like this!

Sorry to dump... just had to get that off my chest.

I'm so sorry you had such a bad day, Anj. It's hard coming across things that bring back all kinds of memories. BUT!!! The day will come (it does) when you can look at things and smile and remember in a different way. It's such a hard time for you - I wish I knew something to say that would make you feel better, but I don't. Dump all you like - it does help to get it off your chest! I hope tomorrow is a better day for you. BIG hug!!

Well, Nate, because you are sooo understanding I want to send you a thank you... believe it or not, I JUST got to this today... right now. I got the DD on "The House" and my normal complement of messages behind tripled! I'm making a push to get as many back messages answered as I can. Sigh.. Marathon session. I've been at it three hours already and most of the answers to the comments on "The House" were just paste and send. I'd written a standard answer to those comments and just copied and pasted it over and over again.

This is one of several that came from the same flame. It was one of those flames that you come across only occasionally and they are sooo fun to work with. For most of what I "created" I just saved the parameters and will render later. Thanks for the compliment too... almost forgot to say that!
