beautiful macro work here....
first of all, i love the colours. purple, white and yellow went very well togethere and it's very bright.
secondly, i love the composition of this one the most.
it shows enough of the yellow and seems more balanced to me.
lastly, the macro is just wonderful. love the visible lines of the petal.
all in all, this is a great shot!!

Wow the subtle beauty of this flower is greatly emphasised here. This macro forces us to look at the flower for more than its surface value and succeeds. The 'veins' add an almost human quality to this...how did you get the black background? Set this up as a studio shot? Either way I think this is a lovely flower and capture of it. Great job!
