I've had this and his moms finished for like a month and a half, jesus. I was stuck on writing his bio and it still sucks and doesnt really convey his character as well as i'd like but WHATEVER i'm done looking at this.

History:
The story of Jeannot's birth is a complicated one. One of Jeannot's mothers, Marilou Auvigny, a daughter of an enormously rich and prestigious family, was forbidden from starting a family with Cerise, Jeannot's other mother - and so the child they had already conceived was given to a foster family once he was born, and his mothers were separated and never saw each other again.

Jeannot grew up knowing he was adopted (as he was a yol mix and both of his foster parents were MTTs), but he never pondered over it too much, or felt sad about his situation. The Moncrieffs tried to raise him as their own and loved him dearly, but Jeannot himself kept them at an arm's length, and even from early childhood set the tone of their relationship as one of almost business partners, almost as if he was innately aware of the circumstances of how he ended up with his foster family. Over time his foster parents settled into this role, and these days their familial interactions would seem weird, cold and distant to anyone observing from the outside, but it works well enough for them.

Jeannot had a happy enough childhood, he was well cared for and lived a life of luxury. The Moncrieffs were already rather well-off, and Marilou made sure to add to that out of her own pocket. Marilou kept in contact with the Moncrieffs and kept watch over Jeannot from afar, making use of her connections to ensure Jeannot got all the best opportunities in life. Over time Marilou's family became slightly more forgiving over the whole situation, and Marilou was able to re-enter Jeannot's life when he was 10. But by that time he was already too old to truly to take to Marilou as a mother figure, and they never developed a true mother-son relationship. They kept in touch throughout Jeannot's teenage years, and had outings together regularly, but to this day Marilou is more of a "cool aunt" to Jeannot, than a mother.

Jeannot moved to Junction City by himself at the age of 19, to attend a prestigious high-class college there. Jeannot is studying interior design and decor, and is currently interning at a wedding planner firm.

Personality:

First impressions of Jeannot paint him as a snooty, stuck-up rich boy - while he definitely is that, spending more than 5 minutes with him, it becomes obvious he's more of an awkward loser who has trouble finding the right way to communicate with others. Having grown up in a pretty affluent household, Jeannot turned out quite snobbish and pretentious. He is very much sure of the superiority of his own taste in everything from bands to food and clothes, and tends to rudely remark on others choices, when it's something he doesn't approve of. This can easily annoy most people, but those who have known him for longer mostly just learn to ignore it and not take it seriously, as it's more like just a bad habit of his, than indicative of any serious judgement of others on his behalf.

Jeannot is a bit of a prude and gets offended at any sort of sexual humor or behavior. His friends have fun with throwing innuendos at him and watching him get yellow in the face and start sputtering in anger. He will often swat the offender with whatever he's holding at the time. If anyone should try to flirt with him, Jeannot will blush furiously and rebuff them immediately.

He can be a bit of a stick-in-the-mud, as he doesn't find it easy to relax and have fun. He is very focused on his studies and his work, and often has more projects on his hands than he has time for. He often pulls all-nighters and as a result guzzles coffee like his life depends on it. He tends to be moderately stressed at all times, and because of that is pretty easily irritable most of the time. He certainly LOOKS irritated all the time.

Jeannot is very punctual, diligent, and a perfectionist, and appreciates the same qualities in others. He has no qualms telling off even his superiors for slacking off or messing around on the job. He is very authoritative and tends to boss other people around, or at least try to.

His childhood has left him with a rather cynical view on familial relationships, and interpersonal relationships in general. He tends to stay a bit stand-offish, even with those he calls his closest friends. He still tends to veer off into being too business-like even with friendships, which can be weird and off-putting for many.
