Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain bumping into another group of fan-loved but corporately-unappreciated characters.Steph is based on her Young Jutice appearance, while Cass' look is largely influenced by Psuedofolio's interpretation! [link]
This also marks a rare time when I try drawing real people. I thought the Community cast came out pretty well, if I do say so myself. (Shirley must be baking or something.)
Here's hoping we see these characters grace their respective mediums again soon! (I hear October 19th is on February 7th, 2013.)

Wait, so what's the deal with the two Batgirls, exactly? I mean, the whole "parent company not liking you" thing: I guess I missed the news article explaining it, ehehe...

Cassandra, after the whole "one year later" thing with DC's 52 series, came back as a villain, leading Ra's Al Ghul's bunch of psychopaths. Lots of fans reacted poorly to the whole thing, and Dan Didio was basically "Trollolololol~" in response.
Stephanie, however, got the REAL short end of the stick, in that DC magic'd away Barbara Gordon's paralysis, had her kick Steph out of the Batgirl suit (to my understanding), and now Didio is basically trying to sweep her under the rug, having put a stop on any use of the character in any way in any official DC product. Oh, and they'd already ACTUALLY killed her off once before.
Mind you, I don't follow print comics, haven't for years. This is all second-hand knowledge.

Wish you'd come back to the Wotch as the artist. It's good that Ian is doing the art so the comic is running again, but I preferred your style over his. Ian's art, while good, just seems lifeless in comparison to your older work.
