Honeycrisp Dew
When Honey was born, Applejack because the queen of overprotection. She was constantly worried about her, as family was very important to her and it wasn't uncommon for magically made foals to be sick or simply die for no reason. Applejack kept her on her hip for the first few years of her life until Honeycrisp proved herself to be just as strong as Mac was when he was only two. Honey strongly takes after Applejack in the responsibility department, however she tends to act more like her big uncle Mac, as she's rather soft spoken and tends to hardly talk at all. Considering she was the first born, she's currently holding first place for inheritance of the farm when Applejack gets too old, though big Applejack refuses to admit that she's getting any older (and she has the strength to prove it still). Honeycrisp Dew, though old enough to buck trees, tends to take care of the younger ones due to Rainbow being busy a lot of the time and Applejack and Big Mac still having a pretty good grasp of things. If Granny were still around, she'd swear on her knee that she was the spitting image of Pear Butter.

Lightning Strike
Oh boy. When Lightning was born, all hell broke loose for Rainbow. She threw a fucking parade basically for the birth of their first (and unknowingly only) pegasus foal. Since Lightning has nearly the same personality of her dear blue mom, the two of them seemed to hit it off almost immediately. Rainbow clearly favors her over the other two foals, which can cause a bit of tension in the family. Lightning obviously wants to take after her Wonderbolt mother, and works herself up over it. Rainbow, who has humbled herself over the years a bit, has to now deal with a child that was the spitting image of herself. Lightning can often get into fights at school over who has the best mom, and like Rainbow will try to prove her dominance physically. This has landed her in the office quite a few times, unfortunately. She tends to tease Honeycrisp for her lack of wings, casually implying that she's going to be 'Queen of the Farm' while she's going to be the best flyer in the world. Honey never minds this, as she prefers a nice quiet life on the farm over anything big. This doesn't stop Lightning though.

Mutsu
Mutsu is the baby of the group. He's rather sickly and has been from birth. Being physically weak, he wants to prove his worth by being the smartest of the kids. He spends a lot of his time in bed reading and studying, as he wants to get into a good school, even at a young age. He's even gone as far as to sneak off to Twilight's castle to see if he could be taught by her. She promised she would eventually, but first he had to get a bit stronger. He took this as physically stronger, and has many a time worked himself to the bone, landing him in bed sick for days on end. Honeycrisp keeps a close eye on him and has even tried to teach him how to buck trees. though, since he's so small, she has him do other small jobs around the farm when he won't stop bugging her. For the most part, he tries to harness the earth pony magic at his young age and spends all his time researching.
