from left to right we have Uatchit, Sombra (still debating on a rename), Venus Gleam, Flurryheart, Polaris, and obviously Spike
this lowkey took me like almost a week to do bc ive never drawn polaris, venus, or older spike before
im very tired

Uatchit: Flurryheart's younger half sister. the result of Cadence siring a half changeling nymph for Chrysalis (who lives in the crystal empire's basement lmao) you can read the slight overview in the comments of this comic.
Sombra: took heavy inspiration from the comics. at the climax of sombra's reformation, the others did not join in to help. instead, radiant gave up her physical form to bring the umbrum prince back. part of his soul is made up of radiant's soul. read more about it here.
Venus Gleam: i dont really know yet! all i know is that she was adopted by Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer (who are wives tyvm). she might've possibly been given to them by the queen of kirins?? like they had an orphaned baby kirin and as a show of good faith, twilight and sunset took her in to raise her. idk she's very bubbly and Polaris' adoptive little sister.
Flurryheart: you already know who it is. she's the eldest of the crystal sisters. very magically inclined, so much so that she actually has to wear a magic inhibitor on her horn thanks to its enormous magical core. she's very headstrong with a strong moral code. flurry absolutely adores her little half sister, uatchit, and would do just about anything for her sister. you can see how her siblings view her here, and here.
Polaris: Polaris; Sunset's and Twilight's emo son. he's pretty angsty and sad (Venus was made to counter that). he's mostly interested in stars, portals, and the planet's polarity and how he could use it. he likes to sit alone in his dark room and read books and he sighs dramatically. he hates going outside and talking with others but he won't make much of a fuss.
Spike: it's spike. we all know spike. instead of chadifying him, he pretty much just gets bigger and a bit leaner. he still helps Twilight and Sunset, and he was there to help raise Polaris and Venus. He loved caring for them and is an uncle figure for them, especially since Twilight sees him as a little brother.
