Imsh is a Savage Orc hunter, whose reputation painted him as a legendary hunter and the greatest killer before accompanying The Meddler, Merrik and Esmerelda on their mission across Time and Space. Despite taking any job for money, Imsh longs to be put to the test with what he calls the ‘ultimate game’.
Imsh was born as a runt among several brothers and sister, with neglectful parents that devoted themselves to their town’s leader more than their children. From a young age, Imsh and his siblings were forced to survive on the streets any way they can until they were old enough to go their separate ways. Imsh then spent his teen to young adult years becoming a hunter-for-hire for the highest bidder. But as the years passed by, he grew bored with the ease of killing his targets and sought to go after supernatural beings, even willing to craft weapons that can slay anything, training himself and acquiring a variety of supernatural abilities. During one of his hunts, he slayed a group of Primitive Orcs at the cost of an arm. He has since crafted a replacement with a variety of features and artillery, from demonic power to reducing the flow of time in an area. With this, his abilities and skills, Imsh became one of the most notorious hunters across the Universe. For the right price, he would hunt and slay whatever he was assigned to. One day, he was given a special contract; slay The Meddler. He eventually tracked down his mark and the two engaged in fierce combat. After The Meddler defeated Imsh, he revealed that he was the one who created the contract in order to test him and see if he was worthy of his friendship. The orc initially displayed disinterest to the villain’s proposal, but The Meddler promised him the one thing he was searching for; the ‘ultimate game’.
Nowadays Imsh is one of The Meddler’s best friends and acts as the voice of reason within the group.
Imsh is an orc, humanoids that usually share both a primitive appearance (tusks are common, skin color runs from sallow to gray to red to green in various shades and combinations, pig/boar-like features appear in various media) and conflict with humanity and the other races. Generally speaking all orcs have tendency to enjoy war/conflict/fighting and often form large hordes.
- Savage Orcs are both mentally and physically more on the monstrous side, with little or no culture outside of raiding/war parties and worshiping gods of evil/war or the local Evil Overlord. They have often below-average intelligence, although there are exceptions, and thus don't tend to invent anything, but steal/corrupt things other people have made. The smarter ones, however, are skilled grafters, making tools that aren't beautiful things, but clever and efficient in brutal ways.
Accelerated Youth and Adult Longevity: The user ages at an accelerated rate and possesses an extended lifespan after reaching maturity.
Barbarian: The user has gained insurmountable bravery and an almost inhuman set of abilities derived from rites of passage and special training received from generations of barbarians that came before. Barbarians live by a primitive code of conduct, which manifests itself as a natural will to fight for a cause or an instinct to both protect family and community to destroy the enemies that would threaten them. They, however, are not fighting for a greater-than-life ideal: To follow the path of a savage warrior is to neglect certain aspects of one's human nature, such as suppressing empathy and committing acts of extreme violence, such as pillaging the home of a defeated enemy, torture, humiliation, and assassinating individuals that have little to no involvement in the conflict at hand (women, children, elders). Barbarians are archetypically portrayed as beings who can take heavy damage and use the heaviest weaponry available (although many "barbaric" cultures use little to no cloth in battle). Another staple is the presence of the berserker state, a mindless rage that overtakes the warrior during and after a ritual. This frenzy is the barbarian's greatest strength and greatest weakness, due to not only numbing their body to pain and dramatically increasing strength but also blinding their own sense of judgment. The savagery inherent to them is not a stereotype, however. Instead, it is a mark of their philosophical way of thinking, the belief that one must embrace the deepest aspects of their nature be it for good or for evil, always handing their life to their primal instincts and being guided by them. "what doesn't kills you makes you stronger" is probably the best definition of their belief.
