Elsword is a planet in the First Universe whose core is comprised of a gravitational singularity instead of magma and whose gravity is two times heavier than the standard gravity. One of the planets mid-distance from the three suns, Elsword has the most stable climate and temperatures, but shifting environments as well as more oceans than continents.
The races in the planet consist of:

Landscapes
Oceans: Endless and deep water that covers the planet’s surface. The water in the oceans and seas are purified of any oxygen and would cause anything to sink within its surface.
Northern Continents

  • Plains: Similar to Earth, except hills can rise from and recede into the ground at random.
  •     o    Coastal Plains – Flat lands next to a sea coast.
  •     o    Lowlands – Flat, sweeping landmass that does not change in elevation.
  •     o    Plateau – Flat terrain that is raised above the surrounding areas with sides with steep slopes.
  • Snow Forests: Similar to Earth, except the trees themselves generate cold mist across the biome.
  • Wetlands: Similar to Earth, except the waters are carbonated.
  •     o    Bogs – Wetlands that accumulates a deposit of dead plants
  •     o    Fens – Wetlands dominated by grasses and other plant species.
  • Coasts: Similar to Earth, except the terrain shifts randomly and occasionally.
  •     o    Sea Shore – Areas where the land meets the sea.
  • Mountains: Similar to Earth, but the gravity is heavier at its peaks.
  • Woodlands: Similar to Earth, but the trees and plants are able to move and change locations at random.
  • Moors: Similar to Earth, but the fog is laced with natural hallucinogenic.
  •     o    Moorland – Uncultivated hill lands consisting of either short or tall grass.
  •     o    Grasslands – Untamed grassy lands consisting of either short or tall grass.
  • Lakes: Similar to Earth, but the water levels can rise and fall tremendously at random.
  •     o    Lake Shore – Areas where the land meets the lake.
  •     o    Rivers – Natural flowing watercourse flowing across the lands
  •     o    Streams – Bodies of water with surface water flowing within the channel’s bed and banks.
  • Valleys: Similar to Earth, but the valleys are susceptible to landslides.
  •     o    River Valleys – Wide valleys with flat bases formed from the planet’s rivers.
  •     o    Rift Valleys – Valleys formed by Elsword crust’s expansion due to the gravitational shifts.
  •     o    Glacial Valleys – Various valleys formed by ice and cold temperatures.
  •     o    Hanging Valleys – Higher level valleys formed from streams/rivers and create waterfalls.
  • Forests: Similar to Earth, but the trees and plants are able to move and change locations at random.

Southern Continents

  • Deserts: Similar to Earth, except the sands are a fine powder and oases are more frequent.
  •     o    Arid Desert – Deserts that are barren with little to no precipitation.
  •     o    Polar Desert – Deserts that fall under an ice cap climate.
  • Jungles: Similar to Earth, but the trees and plants are able to move and change locations at random.
  • Tundras: Similar to Earth, but the gravity is lighter
  •     o    Alpine – Tundras that does not have permafrost and whose high altitudes block tree growth.
  •     o    Antarctic – Tundras that occurs in the sub-antarctic islands and the southern pole.
  • Mountain Ranges: Similar to Earth, except the terrain shifts randomly and occasionally.
  • Rainforests: Similar to Earth, but the trees and plants are able to move and change locations at random.
  • Volcanoes: Similar to Earth, except they have a strong gravitational pull into the crater.
  • Wastelands: Similar to Earth, except hills can rise from and recede into the ground at random.
  • Swamps: Similar to Earth, but the water levels can rise and fall tremendously at random.
  • Canyons: Similar to Earth, but the canyons are susceptible to landslides.
  • Lagoons: Similar to Earth, except the terrain shifts randomly and occasionally.
  •     o    Atoll – Corals reef lagoons that the primary islands subsides.
  •     o    Coastal – Sloping coasts where barrier islands or reefs can develop off-shore.
Islands: Sub-continental lands surrounded by the planet’s oceans.
  • Continental – Islands that are situated near a continent.
  • Oceanic - Islands that are situated away from any continents.
  • Tropical – Islands that have been formed from coral reefs.
  • Artificial – Islands that have been formed by the planet’s denizens. 

Elsword’s weather is vastly different to that of Earth or similar planets due to the planet’s climates combined with the gravitational force of the planet itself. As such, the weather can either last for minutes to weeks and even months on rare occasions.

Weather

Sunny

  • Clear – One of the three suns burn brighter and either has clouds in the sky or none.
  • Bright - Two of the three suns burn brighter and can become too bright for naked eyes.
  • Hot - All three suns burn brighter and can last up to weeks without changing.

Rain

  • Spray – A light spray of rain that can happen on a sunny day and can create rainbows.
  • Drizzle – A shower of rain that is usually accompanied by mist.
  • Downpour – A heavy pour of rain that resembles a monsoon.

Storm

  • Thunderstorm – Powerful lightning storms that consists of thunder and lightning.
  • Snowstorm - Powerful snow storms that consists of blizzards and thunder.
  • Rainstorm - Powerful monsoon storms that consists of torrential downpours and lightning.

Cloudy

  • Light – The sky is somewhat covered in white or gray clouds.
  • Heavy - The sky is covered in gray or dark clouds.
  • Foggy - The sky and landscape is covered in a thick and dense fog.

Snow

  • Powder – A light sprinkle of snow that can occur on cloudy days.
  • Cold – A standard snowfall that can occur on a cloudy or windy day.
  • Blizzard – A heavy bluster of snow that is accompanied by strong winds.

Windy

  • Breezy – Light currents of warm or cool winds, depending on the climate.
  • Blustery – Heavy currents of warm or cool winds, depending on the climate.
  • Hurricane – Powerful cyclones of warm or cool winds, depending on the climate.

Elsword is full of various wildlife consisting of unique animals that populate the planet, each with their own unique features and mannerisms.  Some being carnivores while others being herbivores or even omnivores. Each animal has been enhanced not only by the planet’s climate and atmosphere but by eons of evolution. Some animals are pets, some used as mounts and modes of transport and some are even used for food and resources while the rest are free to roam wild.  

Wildlife

Jaws: Massive shark-like beasts that are somewhat intelligent and omnivorous, usually hunted for their meat. Their rough skin can shred rocks and barnicles into fine powders. They can also travel alone or in groups. They are usually found in the planet’s oceans.

Oeister: Oyster-like beasts that can grow to the size of large buildings, they are often hunted for the jewels within them. They are herbivores and their impenetrable shells can allow them to survive almost anything, even hot temperature. They are usually found in the planet’s oceans.

Poseidra: Gargantuan sea serpent-like beasts that can create storms with their presence, they are herbivores despite their monstrous appearance. Usually peaceful creatures, their rage when provoked are fearsome and devastating. They are usually found in the deep parts of the planet’s oceans.

Shraken: Gargantuan, squid-like beasts that are carnivorous and covered in priceless and rare jewels. Able to create whirlpools by inhaling and water spouts by exhaling, these creatures are extremely rare and dangerous. They are usually found in the planet’s oceans.

Whaile: Gargantuan, whale-like beasts that are omnivorous and can consume small islands whole. These gentle giants are constantly hungry and can create massive tsunamis whenever they surface from the oceans’ depths. They are usually found in the planet’s oceans.

Seeel: Large eel-like beasts capable of discharging plasma and can also live and float on land. They are carnivorous and can use their plasma to augment their abilities as well as their bodies having the consistency of slime. They are usually found in all bodies of the planet’s waters.

Shocktopus: Massive, herbivorous octopus-like beasts that can also survive on land. Their tentacles are lined with needle-like barbs and they can camouflage to become invisible. They are usually found in all bodies of the planet’s waters.

Pisciesh: Fish-like, herbivore beasts of various species, each one having different features, they are usually found in all bodies of the planet’s waters:

  • Fish – Pisciesh that resemble koi whose scales can be used for medicinal purposes.
  • Rough Fish – Pisciesh that resemble carp whose splashes are highly dangerous.
  • Dry – Pisciesh that resemble clipfish whose can absorb the nutrients of their prey.
  • Oil - Pisciesh that resemble tuna and can secrete natural oils used for several purposes.
  • Baloon - Pisciesh that resemble pufferfish who can spontaneously combust at random.
  • Smoke - Pisciesh that resemble salmon who can discharge clouds of smoke when startled.

Gelaphish: Jellyfish-like, herbivore beasts that can live and float on land, they are hunted for their sweet gelatine which they secrete from their tendrils. Their bodies are an intangible slime and their tendrils can conduct and discharge electrical currents. They are usually found in all bodies of the planet’s waters.

Chimera: Amalgamated beasts that can be tamed as pets or used for their meat, fur and/or milk. They are usually found anywhere in the world.

Dwellers: Bird-like, omnivore beasts of various species, each one having different features, they are usually found anywhere in the world.

  • Waterfowl - Dwellers that resemble swans, ducks and geese
  • Passers – Dwellers that resembles crows, magpies and jays
  • Gaali - Dwellers that resemble pheasants, grouse, chickens
  • Columb - Dwellers that resemble pigeons and doves

Pegasus: Winged, horse-like, beasts that can be found in the wild and can be tamed to be mounts, these herbivore animals are one of the fastest in the entire world. There are different types and they are usually found anywhere in the world.

  • Pegasi – Common Pegasus who can travel at speeds up to Mach 8, both on ground and in the air.
  • Alicorns – Common Pegasus with a single horn protruding from their head and are magical.
  • Braze – Common striped Pegasus that are noticeably more built than the other types.
  • Gem – Rare Pegasus whose entire body is made of crystal.

Rinyan: Cute beasts which are a hybrid of cats and dogs that can resurrect themselves up to nine times and can be used as pets. These animals can also be trained to perform any number of tasks and tricks and their fur is extremely soft. They are usually found anywhere on the planet.

Griphon: Hybrid beasts that are half eagle and half lion, these omnivorous animals are one of the fastest and powerful in the entire world. They also exhibit intelligence and whose talons are extremely sharp. They can live anywhere on the planet.

Griffore: Giraffe-like beasts that can grow to the size of skyscrapers and are herbivores. These animals travel in herds and are very strong despite their gentle nature. They are commonly known for their usually found in the entire Southern parts of the planet.

Regulus: Large bird-like beasts that live in flocks and are very powerful. These carnivorous birds of prey can tear their prey to pieces in seconds and can reproduce at a fast rate. They are usually found in the entire Southern parts of the planet.

Rodenut: Large rat-like beasts that are somewhat smart and can reproduce at an extremely fast rate. These omnivorous animals are usually scavengers that find food without being detected. They are usually found in the entire Southern parts of the planet.

Marmot: Small, winged marmot-like, beasts that travel in packs and can also be tamed as pets. They are also omnivorous and are extremely quick, even in the air. They are usually found in the Northern parts of the entire planet.

Momonga: Squirrel-like beasts that reproduces at an extremely fast rate and are extremely cute. These herbivorous animals are known for their thievery and speed, able to gather food while outwitting their predators and are usually found in the Northern parts of the entire planet.

Oxyxo: Massive bovine-like beasts who live and travel in herds and are omnivorous. They are commonly known for their incredible strength and durability as well as being used for their meat, milk and skin as resources. They are usually found in the entire Northern parts of the entire planet.

Lacooda: Camel-like beasts that are fast and durable, they can be used as mounts and are herbivores. These animals can survive for months on end without food and water. Lacoodas are usually found in deserts, wastelands and canyons.

Ancea: Ram-like beasts that can grow to five times the size of a humanoid, they are wild and feral herbivores whose fluffy wool is extremely durable can absorb and discharge powerful kinetic force. They are usually found in mountains, mountain ranges and tundras.

Bazoo: Large ape-like beasts that live in groups and can grow to the size of small houses, these herbivore animals are one of the strongest in the entire world. They are usually found in snow forests, rainforests, jungles and forests.

Behemoth: Gargantuan beasts that are feral and carnivorous, these sabertooth creatures are one of the strongest in the entire world. These animals travel and live in packs and are able to stand on their hind legs. They are found in plains, valleys moors and volcanoes.

Tricorn: Feline, carnivorous beasts with three horns and has varying elements depending on the type:

  • Fire = Panther-like Tricorn found in woodlands.
  • Lightning = Cheetah-like Tricorn found in wetlands.
  • Ice = Tiger-like Tricorn found in lagoons.
  • Poison = Jaguar-like Tricorn found in swamps.

Mamm-Oth: Gargantuan, herbivorous mammoth-like beasts, these animals are one of the toughest in the entire world. These animals travel and live in herds and are often hunted for their fur, meat and/or tusks as well as being used as mounts. They are usually found in snow forests, tundras and lakes.

Bunilla: Rabbit-like beasts that are extremely fast and can live in underground burrows, these omnivorous animals can reproduce at an extremely fast rate and can be used as pets. They are usually found in plains, coasts, woodlands and mountain ranges.

Garmr: Canine-like, sabertooth beasts that are omnivorous and have varying elements depending on the type:

  • Fire = Jackal-like Garmr found in valleys.
  • Lightning = Coyote-like Garmr found in canyons.
  • Water = Fox-like Garmr found in wastelands.
  • Metal = Wolf-like Garmr found in forests.

Basilisk: Snake-like beasts that are omnivorous and have varying elements depending on the type:

  • Magma = Anaconda-like Basilisks found in deserts.
  • Water = Rattlesnake-like Basilisks found in lakes.
  • Poison = Cobra-like Basilisks found in jungles.
  • Blood = Viper-like Basilisks found in moors.

Morkmole: Massive mole-like beasts that can create caves by burrowing and have indestructible plating on their backs and heads. These herbivores are one of the toughest in the entire world and are usually found in volcanoes, mountains, coasts and lagoons.

Monoceros: Gargantuan rhino-like beasts that are extremely durable and herbivorous, these animals are also very fast and their stampedes can shake the entire continent, and destroy anything and everything in their path. They are usually found in wetlands, rainforests and swamps.

Elsword is also filled with a variety of plantlife, from flowers and fungus to trees and vegetation. The vegetation is one of the most plentiful in the First Universe and are quite unique; able to react not only to the sudden climate changes, but also the season changes on the planet. On times of great sunlight and moisture, they will shift to gather their nutrients. Alternatively in times of extreme cold or storms, they will close up and brace themselves to weather the event.

Plantlife
Torts: The planet’s various trees. They are usually harvested for wood, their leaves and/or their fruits.

Northern

  • Korok – A common northern tree resembling oak trees, they can bear the following fruit:
  •     §  Shuura = Sparkling, red fruits that resemble pears and are sweet with a tangy aftertaste. They can be juiced for beverages, eaten raw or used for desserts and even made into jams and jellies.

  •     §  Blue – Rare Amorose used for hallucinogenics.

  • Asphodel – Tall twisting vines of flowering plants that grow the planet’s peppers. Known as the ‘Suicidal Flower’, these plants are known for their near toxic peppers and vines that can be eaten.
  •     §  Red Peppers – Red, spicy vegetables so spicy that it boils blood and allows the individual to expel fire if eaten raw.
  •     §  Blue Peppers – Blue, spicy vegetables so spicy that it is a lethal, acidic poison if eaten raw.
  •     §  Yellow Peppers – Yellow, spicy vegetables so spicy that it induce potent hallocinations if eaten raw.
  • Wheaton – Long stalked flowers that grow grains of the planet’s wheat and rice. Known as the ‘Food Flower’, these plants are known for their several medicinal purposes.
  •     §  Wheat – Grains that is used for a variety of food and is one of the planet’s most used resource.
  •     §  Rice – Grains that is for a variety of food and is one of the planet’s most used resource.
Southern
  • Vene – Common, singular wildflowers of various species and types. Known as the ‘Rejuvination Flower’, these plants are known for their several remedial purposes.
  •     §  Rainbow – Standard Vene used for various bouquets, perfumes and soaps.
  •     §  Polka Dot – Rare Vene used for medicinal purposes.
  •     §  Transparent – Standard Vene used for condiments.
  • Plumes – Rare, exotic flowers of various types and properties. Known as the ‘Taste Flower’, these plants are known for their near toxic peppers and vines that can be eaten.

  •     §  Silver – Rare Plumes used for sweeteners.
  •     §  Gold – Standard Plumes used for mouth fresheners.
  • Gillyweed – Tall stalks of flowering plants that grow the planet’s maize. Known as the ‘Infinite Flower’, these plants are known for their rapid growing and replenishing vegetables.

  •     §  Small – Smaller maize that has twice the nutrients and flavours.
  • Sen – Large flowering bushes that grows the planet’s various beans and peas. Long stalked flowers that grow grains of the planet’s beans and peas. Known as the ‘Immortal Flower’, these plants are known for their several medicinal purposes.
  •     §  Beans – Standard beans that is used for a variety of food and is one of the planet’s most used resource.
  •     §  Peas – Smaller beans that is for a variety of food and is one of the planet’s most used resource.

Naturia: The planet’s vegetables.

  •     o    Northern Gyshal: Gyshal that resemble cabbages and brussel sprouts.
  •     o    Southern Gyshal: Gyshal that resemble lettuce and spinach.

  •     o    Northern Asham: Asham that resemble potatoes.

  •     o    Northern Vithi: Vithi that resemble onions and garlics.
