I really like how this one pulls together, first up our eyes are drawn to the light and the flowers, then, when we look again, we see subtleties hidden through out, including the roiling seas at the bottom of the cliff. Inspired!

Thanks, its hard for me to say if any of that was intentional again. Sometimes I just sort of paint and get lucky I guess, its easier when I don't have a plan for some reason.

Dang, you remembered the bloody day as well! I never remember it. T_T Now, on to the actual praise:
=3 So amazingly beautiful. All the effects are awesomely done and I really like the light and splashing water. It's nice how it all looks like it's painted in oil, or something, too. And I love the rich colours. Amazing, just amazing. X3 Any mom would love to have this for mothers day! ... Except me, maybe, who would demand nothing less than a painting made out of chocolate.

Its easy for me to remember, because spring is when everything is in bloom and giving birth.
Thanks! I sort of wanted an old painting feel but I used modern effects to get it. The paint is mostly still original but I did a high glossy version I overlaid to make it a little extra shiny and paint like. I'm glad you noticed it! Rofl, now a painting made out of chocolate, how could you not eat it no matter how beautiful?

Bah. I hardly remembered it was spring. x-x Luckily for me mothers day is three weeks later in Sweden. Mom and me both freaked out about it - she hadn't called her mom either. So luckily for both of us, I guess. XD
Oh. Well you really succeeded, then. ^^ Cool. Gah, now I feel that I need to learn how to use effects better in PS. xD Well... there is that. I'd still like it until I ate it, though.

It is? Ah man, now I'm going to research the hole history of mothers day now and its uselessness will forever occupy a corner of my mind now... MUST RESIST UNNECESSARY KNOWLEDGE! Bah, can't help it. Stupid curiosity. Wow, so its not really a holiday at all, it has no real historic significance other then some trademark. Well that is depressing.
I kinda got lucky with this one, I messed the settings up on a filter one time and it did this weird glossy emboss thing. Just experiment, even if you end up undo-ing it you may pick up something you could use later. Food and art just don't mix, well they do, but they don't last long .

I think I read that once... in a Donald Duck comic... or a yaoi story. Either one is a reliable source XD There's always some comic or other around Valentine's like that too, with some emo(as in the emotion x.x going: 'It has no real significance - it's only the companies trying to trick you into buying stuff'. But Mother's Day beats that. At least Valentines day has... well... That Valentine dude and stuff! Aw. Don't be depressed Here have a cookie.
... wow. That looks like a turd. Sorry about that. Have some pie instead.
^^
Ohh. Lucky. I was told to do that when I first got photoshop but I'm one of those people who go: "Now, now, now, wanna know everything now don't wanna have to learn it just wanna knooow- Bah! This is a crappy program. And it's all it's fault. I will never learn." after five minutes of experimenting. I made such a nice gigantic dinner for Litha and I served it in such a decorative, artistic way that noone dared touch it at first. Then my su-chef who'd been cooking with me all day dug in, starved as she was, and ruined it enough for the rest to dare follow. XD

The oddest thought just popped in my head, Donal Duck Yaoi, and before my mind went any further I came to the conclusion that not only does it probably exist, but it could quite possibly scar me for the rest of my life . It has some historical significance, but none that's directly related to the holiday celebrated today. That dude rock, they have this new show, its like a soap opera but its about the Olympian gods, and Eros(I think) is the central character. Aw, turd cookies, how sweet
. Now pie is a much better pick me up. Even if your not hungry you can always throw it at someone.
Rofl, well I've spent hours playing with dogwaffle(that just sounds so wrong) and ended up with nothing, so its a double edged sword sometimes. Wait, who's Litha? Did I miss something again? Ah, sure, blame the assistant .
