Description
This is my first experimentation with a horizontal conky setup and its based on 's Shiki-Conky:[link]
BTW this conky setup requires version 1.7.2 if you want to use the panel window type. In addition this conky is made with a 1280x1024 resolution in mind. If your resolution is narrower, the sides will be cut off.
Instructions:
1. Extract archive to your home folder.
2. To start, run conky.

Do you want to make it shorter or taller? Maybe try tweaking the values for minimum_size. I haven't used Conky in a while now though so perhaps you best ask someone who knows Conky like Sector11.
