I think maybe the background isn't stretching properly?

Click the option Stretch background proportionally option. That should take care of the problem.

I love your icons! But there seems to be a 1px space between each icon when I place them on the dock... is there anyone I can fix that so that they will look like in the preview?

The Zip contains a folder called background, within that another folder called Freearea. Place that on you backgrounds folder wherever you keep your backgrounds for objectdock and then set Freearea as your background which should get rid of that pixel between the icons. Hope this helps.

haha i just started using xindows too! i love the built-in reflection. but it is a little buggy.

yeah. why don't you try nexus dock??? it's brand new, from winstep. it's like a cross of xwindows and objectdock, with built-in reflection. i think it's pretty good.
