Installation
For Portable
1. Extract the contents of this download directly into your foobar2000 folder.
For Standard
1. Extract to "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\foobar2000\\"
1a. Also extract the "Configuration" folder to "C:\\users\\appdata\\roaming\\foobar2000\\"
2. Install the provided font located in skins->Zetro->font
Instructions
- For each playlist tab there are 2 views that can be toggled by pressing the > button
- On the left tab bar, the last 2 buttons are toggles that will display an overlay, so you will need to press the button again for them to go away
- The now playing tab has 3 different views, a simple title view which has an interactive rating system and the biography/artist info view. You can toggle between the album review and bio modes by clicking on them.
- By default the skin will look for album images in the playing song's directory but if none is found, it along with artist images will be downloaded to the cache folder. That's where all the information files will be downloaded as well. That folder can be found in the root of your foobar install.
- Also in the cache folder is one for genre, there is where you can add your own genre images for display in the genre playlist view (I've included a few to get you started)
Notes
- Those familiar with my other skins should feel right at home with this one as there are many of the same elements that have been updated
- If you have been using other skins there might be a conflict with components if the previous skin did not use the "user-components" folder. In this case foobar will use the plugins inside the components folder which might be outdated and cause errors with this skin. Remove the components folder and then reinstall foobar. This will only perform an update on components and you will not lose any custom settings, playback stats or playlists.
- If the little search button is not appearing, left click in the area where it should be, select Options>Custom bitmap. The default one should reappear. Now do these step again and use the one included in \skins\\Zehn\\buttons\\search.bmp (this plugin is looking for an absolute path)

Hey, I know this is late, but I copied that folder over to %appdata%/foobar2000, but I'm still getting that error. Can you give more specific instructions on how to fix it?

jscript updated and causes an issue with this build. Is there a planned update for the skin to work with this?

It actually has nothing to do with the jscript panel update, the older one has an error now too. Allmusic has made some changes which is causing the issue.

Also wanted to say I love this skin. I second the request for DPI scaling. I'm using it on a tablet in my car using portrait orientation and a screen resolution of 800 x 1280. Would love for the Text and elements to scale up to 125%.

Yes, I installed the fonts and I imported the skin again. I came up with the same error.
I installed another instance as portable and I am not getting the error, however, I do not wish to keep portable because the settings reset each time and I would rather the setting stayed as they do in standard. Maybe I placed a file or folder in the wrong place.
Edit: I think the issue was caused by a standard install prior to. I uninstalled and started from scratch and now using portable. Everything is working including settings that stick after I close and reopen.

The button of minimize, maximize, close don't work.

Something has not installed properly, most of those buttons are not even script files.
I suggest making a clean duplicate install of foobar (preferably portable) and install the skin there. If it works, there is a conflict in your original foobar install, probably from a previous skin

I keep getting this error on startup:

Some questions and feedback:
1. How do you sort columns by clicking on the headings when in song list view? Something like how windows explorer works when y ou click a heading eg. "Artist" the list will relist alphabetically A-Z or Z-A if you click it again. I know you could just right click Group/Sort by - but for touch-centric skin it would flow if you had the ability to touch/click the headings to sort that by that column.
2. It also looks like the column widths are locked. How do you change width of columns? And how to do you re-arrange or remove/add one. Like click/hold Artist column and move it to the first column (before Song Column).
3. Playlist behaviour. If i was in "Playlist A" and playing songs in that list, but i wanted to browse songs in "Playlist B", I would have to double click on "Playlist B" to view that playlist, however it will stop the currently playing song from Playlist A and play whatever is on "Playlist B", when all I wanted to do was view what was inside "Playlist B"
*4. Playlist window hover experience. I could hide it by clicking the Playlist button again but notice this has become tedious when flipping around playlists and searching for songs. I keep having to activate/disactivate the playlist button and the highlighted song icon misleads me to click that button instead of the playlist button. One suggestion is when activating Playlist, the playlist window will pop up without blocking the song column behind. So all columns in song list view would adjust to the right so nothing is blocked. I'm not sure what other workaround could be for this but this quickly became apparent within minutes using this skin. After continuous use i'm not sure how I feel about using this config long-time, this behaviour really impacts the user experience flow and i'm wondering what else could be a work around solution to this? I think the fix is instead of hover over, it should fixed inside and everything adjusts to the right of it, so that all columns are still visible.
Or an easy fix is, in (Song mode v2 with thumbnails) - increase the width of the song thumbnails to the same width as the playlist window.
However this still doesn't fix the user experience in the other views such as Genres, Albums, Artists.
3. For stars/ratings the graphics shows as a "b" instead of stars/circles
4. Playlist Migration issue (FIXED) - I had to do a workaround and manually add playlists from my old config. However the playlist names did not show up so i had to rename all of them.
(Original Problem) I copied/pasted playlists-v1.3 folder from my previous portable foobar to this version but all songs say "Unable to open item for playback (Object not found):" even though the location hasn't changed. I added my Media Library in the new foobar portable zehn, but still get these errors. Songs would play if i'm in "Library" playlist, however any other playlist they won't play (despite all songs in all the palylist are derived from the main Library)
If i manually, drag and drop a song from windows explorer to a playlist with the same song location, the newly added song would play.
Please don't take anything I wrote as harsh critisicms, it's just what i've observed and would help with your next iterations/designs to consider UX case uses. I'd like to reitarate that it's an amazing design and really has a high-end polished feel.

1. You can't, it's cosmetic. Unfortunately the panel that is drawing them does not allow for such functionality
2. Same as above.
3. You shouldn't have to double click to change playlists, they change on just a single and play on a double
4. Everything is layered so you won't be able to have different ones be on top, that is a limitation of the panel. The only alternative would be to place it elsewhere.
3(?). You need to install Guifx v2 Transports.ttf which is included in the skins\fonts folder
I appreciate constructive feedback so no worries. Some things I would like to do but the panels limitations prevents that and I don't have enough programming knowledge of java to make the skin entirely out of that.

I had to help a friend with this as well, he is using Win10 and the only thing that I could find to fix it was resizing the fonts. You will have to right click on the panels and go into settings and resize them in the code yourself.

Player transparency isn't really a part of the skin but can be achieved in the ColumnsUI settings, Preferences>Columns UI> Main tab, select use transparency and set the value

Hai there. I really enjoy the skin but I keep getting an 'Error: Image draw failed (h_iml)' error whenever I open any tab. This means it doesn't show the art according to what music is being played but the default one like this imgur.com/a/cgxfW

Question, does it matter if my foobar is installed in C or elsewhere? because I did exactly as stated in the installation section for standard and simply nothing happened, foobar opens to its own old skin.
Oh and there is nothing except default user interface under user interface module setting.

That did it. The only other problem was that rating stars would show as "b b b b b" which was fixed when I installed the Guifx v2 Transports font.
