Instructions
For Portable
1. Extract the contents of this download directly into your foobar2000 folder.
For Standard
1. Extract to "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\foobar2000\\"
1a. Also extract the "Configuration" folder to "C:\\users\\appdata\\roaming\\foobar2000\\"Β Β
2. Install the provided font located in skins->Zetro->font (only if you do not have Segoe UI)
Make sure to look in the provided Help folder for more instructions. (The help files were made for an older version of Zetro but are still applicable)
If you want credit for your image, just say so
If you want an image removed, you can say that too

This is not an error. I find that when foobar loads to a playlist it will not always draw the album art properly. It is a little but in the plugin.
You can change this yourself though:
Right click on the side where the tabs are->Splitter Settings...->see the the check box that says "Hide panel on start up"? go through the panels and choose the one you want to show and hide the ones you don't

Hey, a very nice skin! is there any way to add a think black shadow around the letters? It's a bit hard to see the letters on some (very good) backgrounds.

I've made big changes to the fonts in the playlists for the next release but use the "- Brightness +" button in the appearance tab. It will dim the image

I have one additional comment, but I think you already know that (judging by some other replyes); the artist pucture does not display in the now playing/artist window even if I click "download artist art from Last.fm" in the info/artist window. is there any way to fix this?

It's working fine for me but the images are fetched from last.fm and they are being jerks more and more with this. Might not be able to fetch images at all soon.
Is it all artists though? Could just be a case of 1)tag doesn't match what they have or 2)it's just taking longer then it should to load.
Go to your foobar folder->lastfm->artist. Do you see images there?

Also, is there any way to "merge" different artists (now playing/artists) into one? It's quite annoying that the same artists who just changed the musical style (let's say Opeth ot The Gathering) is shown as a separate artist.

If the artist tag is different it will sort that way. It does not sort by genre though so changing musical style would not be the issue

Hey, I think your skin is just awesome, but I have a question for you: how can I make a thin black shadow around the letters? it is quite annoying that I can't see the letters in 1/2 of the backgrounds.

Ok, it works on a separate portable installation...
Only fact is even though I specified the path for my music library into foobar settings, my music doesn't appear at all.
Also: "Quick search bar (you will have to choose the custom bitmap yourself. Left click on the left of the second black bar->Options->Custom bitmap. The search image is found inside the buttons folder in Zetro)"
What second black bar???Β
I hope that once I can see my library I'll have ways to manage it easily with this theme...

Well, are you new to foobar, eh?Β By the way, to see your songs you have to create an autoplaylist. Open "Album list" in "Media library" tree, click a hyperlink at the bottom "Album list/bla-bla", right click on a main tree "All Music" (at the very top), and finally click "Create Autoplaylist". It'll create a playlist that will fetch all new and existing songs from your library specified at the tab. And what do you mean under "manage"?

Thank you very much. Well I'm not very new to it but I never understood it completely since I've been using darkone theme which is pretty much complete in every aspect. But I wanted to try something different and this one seemed a good choice, which is actually, I love the interface. With manage my collection I just meant searching my music inside foobar, basicly and now it works. Thank you again.

Ah another awesome update. I love the borderless look. Also really like that the seekbar stuffs are on the left now.
Few feedbacks though
1) The new foobar icon is too white. It is almost invisible on my light blue taskbar. Perhaps you can make the outline darker and thinker next time? I like the looks though.
2) The width of the search bar is too long; 20+ characters input is unnecessary. I feel that the browser is much more important especially with the number of items I have. So I halved the size of the search bar.
3) In the artist tab, if the group is tagged as various artists, the cover is split amongst them. I think that this is a good idea, however, it looks odd when someone has no cover. I would be better if the ones with no covers are ignored and the image is split amongst the ones that have covers.
And one question, how to I edit the playlist tab (script and stuff)? Right click on it doesn't bring up the setting option like other tabs do.

Great update, thanks! Everything is working fine for me, foobar is fetching album arts from lastfm and im happy once again 
Just one little issue, if I start playing an album for which I dont have an album art yet it would load it under INFO/Album, but in order for it to show under NOW PLAYING/Albums (playlist) I have to right click on the album and select "refresh all". Not that big of a problem tho
One last thing, I love the new Quick search but is there an easier way to go back from the search results playlist to the original (now playing) one? Maybe a button or a search performed over an empty quicksearch field?

It's kind of annoying. All it needs is a x button like iTunes has to return the playlist to normal after the search.

They are different plugins, one refreshes itself and the other doesn't. I've tried working around it but with no luck. Refresh or when you restart foobar seems to be the only way
The quick search creates a new playlist, so all you need to do is right click in the playlist area->Playlists and go back to the one you were originally at

Thanks for putting the knob... square thing back. It works now. Was driving me crazy. Drop down menu for EQ is neat. Dunno if it was in 2.5v since I used 2.4v. I don't know if it's intentional but the Artists section in Now Playing doesn't display like it did in last 2.4v.

If it can't find artist art it will display the standard background image. If the album artist is "Various" or "Various Artists" then it will display the various artists image. So yes, there will be 2 different images based on what your album artist tag is.

Did you change the size of the bars on top of the playlists? They no longer match on your foobar.
Also, I see that the search icon did not appear. go to the beginning of the second black bar, on the left of it left click, you should get a menu. Go to Options->Custom bitmap->The search image is found inside the buttons folder in Zetro

They're not messed up. The tag I edited by Artist (who sang the song) and Album Artist depending if there's more then one singer singing in the album which gets the various artist tag. I created a group and used play_count to sort. This image has album artist group sorted. img43.imageshack.us/img43/9571β¦
Are you saying the foobar icon cover is suppose to have the regular cover from the music? While the various artist will have the 3 guy pic? If you can show a pic so I know what you mean, it'll help.
The quick search bar? I didn't touch it before but in the image above I have now. It seems it's 1 pixel off compared to the zetro pic above. I tried to resize it but doesn't move, still at default 23. Resized the graphic browser from 23 to 22 but I can't fix the - + box, dunno how to align that.

Your previous picture had the name of a record label rather than an artist so I assumed the tags need to be fixed. They look better in your new pic though.
Yes, the 3 guys image is meant to be displayed if the album artist tag is Various or Various Artists while the foobar icon is the default

Thanks for the steps on correcting the - + it's aligned now from 23 to 22. Maybe it's different on specific PC's? I did a separate portable clean install and seems it's off 1 pixel. Just tried the new version and just wanted to say that apart from the Artist picture under "Info" not displaying, everything is working now, it shows the album/artist art everywhere else

280 is the width of the sidebar. $sub(%ps_width%,280) will make it display from the left to 280 pixels away from the right side of the player

oh I just found it, it is because the %_width%
it should be %ps_width% to return the splitter size. 280 is too small in my pc, maybe because of the DPI setting I am not sure.
Anyway, it is all good now. Am loving this skin even mooooar lol

my theme happens to show up the background modification every time I start my foobar up. how can I change it to show the library by default?
and, I think this theme/version manage medias by playlist. how can I manage the medias by the album that I added in Media Library / Music Folders (i.e managing not by playlist I may create in the future but by the Folders I have in my PC).

This was done on purpose because I noticed that album art would not always draw on start up otherwise. A bug in the plugin me thinks
You can still do this if you like by;right click on the side,Splitter Settings..., you will see a check box that says "Hide panel on start up" uncheck the one you want to show and check off Appearance
Right now the only way to sort through your library is to go to the Menu button(cog)->Library->Facets. Once you use that it will also create a playlist called "Library selection" but that plugin will allow you to search using different methods

I can fix the "search box" problem by press Ctrl + F when I want to search something (just like surfing the Internet).
About the cover size, I think It will be helpful if you add a script to allow people to choose
