A piece that I lost to a PC crash about a month ago. In an attempt to get my work, or at least some trace of it back, I restored it to the most recently saved previous version, which is this incomplete WIP.Before I lost it to the crash, I added several layers of hair+ shading, and planned to do an alternate, light-colored version to signify a genetic morph, but unfortunately, it was not to be so.
I dunno if I can finish this, but I hope it looks decent as a WIP for the time being.
In case you didn't guess, this is a Eurasian cave lion, Panthera spelaea spelaea, probably my most favorite animal ever, for whom I cannot express my love to its full extent.

God that's just awful. These random crashes actually made me click CTRL+S like constantly to not lose any data. I have actually lost a commercial work I was doing like this

Damn. Do you have Photoshop right? I got myself a CS 6 version, as it was claimed it saves automatically and that you can recover things after crash o.o have never crashed yet to check if it works tho. But made me feel safer at least ;v;

Yeah I couldn't tell if they were dirty from living in Termite Mounds in the Outlands or whatever it's called or was that their actual fur color. Zira was alwaysΒ one of my favorite characters.
